Enjoying Some Cake

I had the pleasure of working with little Miss Alivia this past weekend. Alivia is a ball of energy, on the RUN. I mean for real this baby not even 1 year yet and not walking she is all out running :) What a happy baby to, always happy and smiling. No melt downs with this little girl.

We started off her session with a few 1 year milestone shots, about 40 minutes worth of photos, like I said this little girl was on the go, that's no exaggeration lol

Mom loved this Alice in Wonderland backdrop and it seemed to really fit all of their personalities. Alivia did not have any objections to the colorful backdrop either. Although getting her to sit was a challenge we managed a couple shots on the mushroom ;)

I added a few props (mom provided the plastic balls) Which by the way mom and dad I really think you may have a future softball player on your hands with Alivia's love of those plastic balls and her speed... Maybe, huh???

Ok, now were getting closer to the fun messy stuff. Who doesn't love cake? Especially little babies! But first I grabbed a few shots with the balloons. All kids seem to be infatuated with balloons and Alivia was absolutely one of those kids. She actually played a game with dad letting the balloons go in the studio and watching dad jump up to get them, oh the priceless memories I get to be a part of!

On to the part we've all been waiting for. At first she wasn't to sure about the cake she was more concerned with running. So with a little coaching from dad she decided to give the cake a try. Not eat it just play with the icing on top, and not with her hands either... Her feet!! oh so slippery and messy and no ones yelling not to get messy!

Ok Alivia lets try this cake a different way...

With little orange and pink footprints all over the studio (thank goodness my floor is cement haha) Mom got the fun part of chasing a frosting covered baby lol I got the shots I need and then we finished up with an outdoors bath. I think, besides the plastic balls ( as you can see one in her hand lol), this was Alivia's favorite part. She really loves water and bath time I can tell!!

I had a great time with Alivia and her mommy and daddy. Wishing this spunky energetic little girl a VERY happy first birthday! Thank you for letting me capture and document her milestone.

I do not pick your photos, I edit a double amount and YOU choose your photos from an online gallery. These sessions can be indoor or outdoor sessions.
